Makati City, Philippines – The February 19 US-Philippines Society Board of Directors meeting reviewed 2017 programs, 2018 plans, finances, and other business matters. The Board passed a resolution supporting a return of the Bells of Balangiga to their church in Eastern Samar. New member Paul Shmotolokha of Alpha Technologies (Washington State) was welcomed.
At the outset of the meeting, Co-chair MVP called for a moment of silence in remembrance of the late Washington Sycip, founding member and honorary chair of the US-Philippines Society.
