High-level multi-faceted strategic engagement between the United States and the Philippines has increased steadily through 2024, with Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo leading a U.S. Presidential Trade and Investment Mission to Manila in March, President Marcos visiting Washington as part of a Trilateral Summit in April, followed by the 11th Bilateral Strategic Dialogue, and a 2+2 Foreign and Defense Ministerial Dialogue among Secretary Lloyd Austin, Secretary Antony Blinken, Secretary Enrique Manalo and Secretary Gilberto Teodoro, who met in the Philippines at the end of July.

Join us for a presentation by Philippine Ambassador Jose M. Romualdez, who will review the stepped-up pace of engagement as the two countries enhance bilateral cooperation and promote multilateral efforts to realize a “shared vision of partnership, peace and prosperity.”
