His Excellency Ambassador Jose Manuel G. Romualdez will review an eventful 2022 for the Philippines: post-Covid economic recovery, PH-US security alliance and high level meetings including the recent visit of Vice-President Kamala Harris to the Philippines, where new initiatives were launched to address climate change, support clean energy transition, food security and more. Discussion will also review Philippine participation in regional forums, including the US-ASEAN summit, East Asia summit and APEC, amid global economic challenges and effects of the ongoing war in Ukraine.
