From July 2011 to June 2016, former Ambassador Jose L. Cuisia, Jr. worked to promote trade and investment opportunities in the Philippines; strengthen the security alliance with the U.S.; and assist Philippine nationals while cementing the robust relationship between the two countries. Since his return to the Philippines, Ambassador Cuisia, a member of the US-Philippines Society Board, has continued to promote the Philippines as an investment destination for U.S. businesses.
