Barangay Sagonsongan Transitory Shelter Rural Health Center in Marawi

Amid the pandemic, the Barangay Sagonsongan Rural Health Center (RHC) serves the surrounding communities in various ways in support of the City Health Office Health promotion, information, education and communication programs including medical missions on site.  From 2018-2020, the US-Philippines Society in partnership with Project Handclasp Foundation and the Philippine Disaster Resilience Foundation donated medical equipment and supplies and training assistance for the RHC. On February 15-17 2020, young doctors from the Philippine Department of Health held medical-surgical missions in Lanao del Sur. The video features the program held in Sagonsongan RHC on Day One of the mission.
